BRIEF

Design a logo and brand identity for Music Charity ‘INTRA’

Client: INTRA Charity

CREATIVE STORY

My role was to develop a brand identity that reflected INTRA’s charity mission to help secondary school students from all backgrounds find the joy in making music, learn professional skills and access the music industry. The essence of the brief was in defining the new logo with a bold set of guidelines to bring life to the brand.

DEVELOPMENT

“What could music look like?” Was my leading question in order to ignite inspiration for a broad range of visual treatments/snapshots. These capture the energy of music and through a series of graphic explorations, I wanted to develop two distinct paths - one in black and white monochromatic and one in pure vibrant colour:

The final visual direction was almost entirely in black and white with effective, inflections of colour.
Design layout, shape and use of colour were key elements to produce bold graphics that mirrored the brand energy.
